What can we do?
Most of us have developed many unhealthy eating habits that we have accumulated over the years. Parenthood is a great opportunity to set in place new healthy habits that our children can share. We want the best for our childrenOur desire to make sure our children have healthy bodies and minds, provides us with the impetus we may have lacked to change our own unhealthy habits. As we make changes, our children directly benefit because they will follow our example. Our children are also benefited because they will have healthy, energetic parents.
So when your toddler wants food from your plate, let it be fresh organic fruits and vegetables and whole grains. The kind of role model you are will greatly influence your children's eating habits.
When you give your children good nutrition, you are giving them the building blocks for optimal wellness. What more would you want to do?
