Herbal Infusions - Tisanes
Herbal infusions have grown in popularity with many health conscious people preferring caffeine free beverages. Tisane is a term which is derived from the French 'itsanes', meaning a brewed herbal beverage, containing no tea leaves.
There is a large number of organic herbal infusions on the market, with more appearing everyday. Herbal infusions are based on extracts of leaves, roots, stems, flowers or fruit of plants known for their healthful value and therapeutic qualities. Many of these herbs have been used for thousands of years to provide therapeutic benefit. |
